We have a problem.

Nearly every day, we get truckloads of great buys on designer and brand name home improvement products. Whether it’s lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, or flooring, we’re getting new and interesting products on a regular basis.

So, what’s the problem?

It is finding a way to tell you about these new products, in the simplest and most efficient manner possible.

We’ve talked to many of our customers about this, and they tell us that they do a lot of their shopping on the Internet these days. So, we’re working on making it easy for you to find us on the Internet. In whatever way works best for you:

  • Of course, you know about this website (which is actually a blog.) You can subscribe to it by clicking on the SUBSCRIBE link at the upper right corner of the page, or by clicking on the orange RSS-feed icon on the left side of the page.
  • We also send out periodic emails to our customers, telling them about hot-deals. You can subscribe to our email list by filling in your name and email address in the box in the left column, just below our logo.
  • You may have noticed that we post daily ads in Craigslist. You can find our ads by going to phoenix.craigslist.org, and searching for “Construction Lots”.  (Our ads always have our name in the “location” section of the ad title.)
  • We now use Twitter to send out up-to-the-moment information on hot deals, as we get them. With Twitter, you can get updates from us on your phone, or on your computer. You can subscribe to our Twitter feed by clicking on the Twitter icon, in the left column of this page, then choosing “follow” in Twitter.
  • We also have a Facebook group. You can join it by clicking on the Facebook icon in the left column of this page, then choosing “join” in Facebook.

No matter how you prefer to get information, we’ll try to provide it in a way that works for you. And, if all this computer technology seems a bit much, why not just drop in to our warehouse, and take a look around? We’ll be pleased to show you some of the really great buys we have in stock.  Unlike some “Internet retailers,” we’re a real brick-and-mortar store, run by real home improvement people.

WOAH! Whatta Deal for Ceiling Fans!

Posted on June 4, 2010

We live in Phoenix. Man is it hot. Especially, when you’re laying in bed at night, with your squeaky wobbly old ceiling fan that you have to keep on low just so you can sleep.

We just made a special buy on some really gorgeous designer ceiling fans.  Not only are they fashionable, but they are quiet, and will keep you cool, while saving serious money on your electric bills this summer.  And they’ll help you sleep at night.

Unfortunately, we have a problem with these fans.  Well, not the fans (they’re great), but with the manufacturer.  They know how low our prices are, and given the deal we cut with them, they’re a bit concerned that if we were actually to advertise our prices, it would really upset all of their other dealers, who are selling these fans for much higher prices. (Hey, we understand.  People want to stay in business.  Some of these dealers have fancy showrooms they have to pay for, so they need to sell at higher prices.)  To keep the manufacturer (and their other dealers) happy, we’re not going to advertise our prices.  We’ll tell you what we’ve seen these fans selling for at other places. But, if you want to know what we are selling them for, you’ll have to call us or visit us.

Here are three models that are especially interesting.  We have several other models as well, so come visit our warehouse to see them all.

52″ Designer Gallery Fan (Item #8781)

Sophisticated and modern.  This fan will look just as good 10 years from now as it does today.

Details:

  • 52″ sweep
  • 5 blades, with Elm/natural Cherry finish
  • Oil-rubbed bronze finish
  • 3 speeds, forward & reverse
  • Antique amber scavo glass
  • Two 40 watt uplights
  • Underwriters Laboratories listed
  • Limited lifetime warranty

Typical retail pricing for this fan is $376.38.  Come visit us to get our price (and buy a few of them.)

52″ Voyager Fan with Wall and Hand Remote Control (Item #8779)

The is a new stainless steel model. It goes great with casual or modern decor.  It’s especially at home in game rooms, kitchens, or Arizona rooms.  Its very classy. Just like you.

Details:

  • 52″ sweep
  • 4 blades
  • Stainless-steel finish
  • Matte chrome finish blades
  • Wall and hand remote controls
  • 100 watt halogen bulb included
  • Underwriters Laboratories listed
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

Typical retail pricing for this fan is $376.38.  Our price is lower.  We’d say “a lot lower,” but we don’t want to get the other dealers out there mad at us.

52″ Pewter Upland Ceiling Fan, with Halogen Light Kit (Item #8780)

Our new fans keep looking better and better. This fan has such a cozy theme to it. Your family is sure to love it.

Details:

  • 52″ sweep
  • 4 or 5 blade configuration can be used with this fan
  • Pewter finish (We also have oil-rubbed bronze)
  • Cherrywood blades
  • Underwriters Laboratories listed
  • Limited lifetime warranty

We’ve seen this model of fan on the Internet for $323.00.  It’s a high-quality model, so it’s certainly worth that much.  We made a special buy, and are able to offer it for… oops.  We’re not allowed to say here. Come in or call us to find out.

These are really nice fans.  We’re pretty certain they’ll sell out soon.  So visit us soon, to be certain you can get enough for your entire house.  Buy some for your parents too.  Or your best friends.  They make great Christmas or birthday presents.  (They come in nice big boxes, and look really great in wrapping paper with a bow.)

Dark Scraped Oak Laminate Flooring, $1.09/sq foot

Posted on May 17, 2010

This is a phenomenal buy on dark scraped oak laminate flooring.  The planks are 54.33″ x 4.45″ x .31″, with 16.78 sq. ft. per box.

Dark Scraped Oak Laminate Flooring

This flooring, with its scraped surface, looks like it ought to cost far more than it does.  It has a locking-tongue design, so it’s easy to install.

Porcelain Tile, As Low as $1.35/sq foot

Posted on

Don’t you hate it when some store advertises a price as being ”as low as?”  OK, we admit that we’re selling only one of the tile patterns shown below for $1.35/square foot.  Three of them are $1.39/square foot, and one is $1.53/square foot.

Porcelain Tile

Why the difference in price?  Because they cost us a different amount.  We’ve priced these styles of tile way below the market price.  They’re not “loss leaders,” but they’re mighty close.  You won’t find this kind of first-quality 20″ and 18″ tile at this kind of price anywhere else (unless you want to buy a truckload, and have it shipped in from the coast.)

If you’re considering updating your floors, come take a look at this tile.  You’re going to like it.  Also, take a look at some of the fancy trim tile we have.  Add a little pattern to your floor, and it’s going to look stunning.  We also have great prices on all the other supplies you’re going to need for your new floor, from mortar, to grout, to sealer.

As with most of our very best buys, this pricing is good only while our supplies last.  When you estimate your square footage, be sure to add a little extra, to make sure you have enough for the job.

Cast Iron Kitchen Sinks, Only $99.88

Posted on

We made a very good buy on these white double-bowl cast-iron kitchen sinks.  And we’re passing the savings on to you.

Special buy: White cast-iron kitchen sink

Do your homework, and you’ll find these sinks on sale, at a major hardware/home improvement chain, for $329.99.   We’re selling them for $99.88.

When you install one of these sinks in your kitchen, it’s going to look spectacular.  And, it’s going to cost you a lot less than you’d pay for a  junky no-name sink.

Our supply is limited, so don’t wait too long.

Stainless steel kitchen sinks, up to $630 off!

Posted on May 10, 2010

We have a great selection of stainless steel kitchen sinks.  Take a look at this one:  It’s a deep double-bowl undermount sink for use with granite countertops.

We can’t advertise the brand (just one of those things), but this sink retails at $800.  Our price is $169.99.
